SMART CUTS NZ officially opened in 2007. The story of SMART CUTS NZ predates its inception and started with the dream of a young man wishing to own and operate his own barbershop. Like majority of barbers these days George Lilomaiava started his barbering career cutting family and friends in Samoa. 2003 George gratuated from Mr Barber Training Centre, then he started working as a baber at Pule's barber shop in Grey Lynn, 2004 he moved from Pule's barber shop to Hairport in Westfield Henderson. After many years of experience George decided to open his own barbershop SMART CUTS NZ and has been operating  since 2007, George and his team pride themselves with service and with many satisfied customers that keeps doing what they do best, With 2 great current locations Glen Eden and Avondale and taking over (new) management from Bladez Barbers (glen eden) brings on a whole new challange, With a spiritual faith and the support of his young family George went on to fulfil a lifelong dream and opened SMARTCUTS NZ, A separate entity SMART CUTS NZ was formed and his legacy and dream continues to provide inspiration for the current barbers and management.
